Glass City

Glass City was conceived as an entertainment-driven urban district on the Black Sea coast, developed from masterplan to architectural definition. The project integrates eight five-star casino hotels rising 35 storeys, ten four-star hotels, residential buildings and a large retail and leisure complex organised as a dense metropolitan composition.

At the centre of the development, a spherical glass arena forms the crown jewel of the masterplan. Conceived as a luminous “bubble”, the arena operates as the symbolic and spatial core of the district, surrounded by the main piazza where retail, hospitality and cultural activity converge.

Reflective glass towers, water landscapes and pedestrian plazas structure the urban environment, establishing a continuous relationship between architecture, public space and entertainment. The scheme was conceived to meet the highest standards of sustainable design.

The project frames entertainment architecture at the scale of the city, where spectacle, landscape and urban life are organised around a central civic landmark.
