Ristorante Origano Campo di Fiori

1/7
A conversion and refurbishment of a declining restaurant near Campo de’ Fiori, delivered under tight budget and time constraints. Rather than altering the existing structure, the intervention introduces a new spatial layer within the shell. Bespoke furniture, timber boiseries and a suspended lighting field redefine the interior scale, lowering the visual horizon and concealing the untouched ceiling above.
The project establishes a contemporary reinterpretation of the Roman trattoria through crafted materials such as wood, iron and marble. An architectural strategy that transforms limitation into spatial identity.
